The Liberal High School girls soccer team won a playoff game 6-0 over Junction City Monday night at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  Ashley Carrillo scored four goals on her birthday to lead the way.  Valeria Gonzalez scored two goals in the win.  LHS led 3-0 at the half in what may have been the final home event of a tumultuous 2020-2021 school year.  Liberal is 8-8-1 and will play the winner of Tuesday night’s game with 4-11-1 Lawrence Free State and 13-2-1 Washburn Rural.  On Thursday, Liberal would host Free State and travel to Topeka to play Rural.
