The Seward County Commission met Monday evening and after an Executive Session at the end of the meeting, authorized County Administrator April Warden to offer up to $85,000 to employ a new Health Department Director.
Earlier in the meeting, the Commission approved the waiver of fees for the Rodeo Arena on May 15 for a benefit Ranch Rodeo for Crossroads.
Commissioners also accepted the donation of 3- 30,000 gallon insulated water tanks from Arkalon Ethanol for the Seward County Fire Department, and approve $7,500 to move them where needed.
The Commission also approved the contract with M Builders for wall flashings at the Administration Building.
