Tuesday Night the Eisenhower Boys hosted the Kenneth Henderson Falcons

The Warriors sneaked past the Falcons in an overtime win 42-38. The contest started off with a flurry as the Warriors’ “rained” threes all night, starting with Richard Forbe’s first of eight all day. He was connecting all night hitting six in a row, Between Richard and Landon Martinez, the Warriors dropped 10 three’s for the night. Should have been a big win for us, but with sloppy defense through-out the game, the Falcons were able stay within reach. A late fourth quarter rally sent the game into overtime which included two three’s by KH in the last minute. Clutch free throws by Marco Alonso and Landon Martinez sealed the win. .

Leading the Warriors was Richard Forbes 27, Landon Marinez 10, Marco Alonso 3 and Geizi Gonzalez 2.

Late last week, the Warriors downed the Dodge City Cardinals 49 -10 on the road. Leading 20-13 at halftime, the Warriors exploded in the third shutting the Cardinals out with an 18-0 run. Eisenhower travels Thursday to Dodge City again, taking on DC Comanche.
