Sledge Wins In Texas County District #2

In a special election that was held Tuesday for Texas County Commissioner District #2, Dolan Sledge defeated Ty Cobb for the seat which came open following the passing of Commissioner Richard Bryan. Sledge recorded 349 votes or 74.10% with Cobb receiving 122 votes for 25.9%. Sledge will fill Bryan’s unexpired term.
