Ulysses Man Involved in a 3 Semi Accident

A 3 semi accident in Rawlins County involved a Ulysses man. The accident occured at approximately 12:56pm Thursday afternoon 11 miles north of the K25/US 36 junction in Rawlins County. An unknown semi, who left the scene, was traveling South on K25 when it abruptly slowed and pulled to the shoulder. A 2009 Kenworth semi being driven by Edgar Rodriguez, 33, of Ulysses, attempted a maneuver to keep from hitting the first semi. Rodriguez, ending up striking a  2000 Peterbilt being driven by Fabian Aguilar Jimenez, 26, of Garden City, in the rear who was also trying to avoid the first semi and the Kenworth.

Jimenez was taken to the Rawlins County Health Center to be treated for his injuries. Rodriguez was not injured.
