Liberal Burglars Steal Same Item at Different Businesses Liberal burglars were picky about what they wanted to steal from two Liberal businesses. Liberal police report someone broke into Daylight Donuts and stole a TV early Monday morning. An hour and a half later someone broke into the High Plains Daily Leader in the 200 block of South Kansas and stole a TV. No one was in either business during the time of the two thefts. A TV was stolen from Daylight Donuts this fall as well. Police are investigating to see if the burglaries are connected.
