Cheryl Ann (Robinson) Parker

Cheryl Ann (Robinson) Parker, 63, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her residence.

Cheryl was born to Harold Robinson and Donna (Gilpin) Ward on November 13, 1957, Garden City, KS.

She attended Hugoton High School where she was a cheerleader, homecoming attendant, played on the softball, volleyball, track, basketball and she played in the EagleMarching Band. In 1973, Cheryl, her sister Teri, and their parents traveled with the HHS marching band to Vienna, Austria to perform in the International Music Festival where they won both silver and gold trophies. Cheryl graduated from Hugoton High School in 1975.

She worked as a CNA and CMA at Pioneer Lodge in Coldwater, KS and Morton County Care Center in Elkhart, KS. She really enjoyed the time she got to spend working with and getting to know the residents there.

Cheryl was an avid music lover, especially Rock and Roll. She was absolutely in love with Steven Tyler, of Aerosmith, and dreamed of marrying him one day. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with and showing how much she loved her daughters, her parents and siblings, her nieces and nephews, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her dog, Bo, and other relatives and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father and two sisters, Joyce Ann Rodgers, and Sandy Price.

Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, Jesseca Parker (Shawn Zeiher), Elkhart, KS., Lauren Sanders (Otis), Illinois, mother, Donna Ward (Earl), Coldwater, KS.; two brothers, Dale Robinson (Heidi), Erie, CO., Ryan Robinson (Stacey), Iowa, Teri Shope, Kremmling, CO., five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, 7 nieces, 3 nephews and other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established for Polyanna’s (Sandy Price Scholarship).  Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.

Friends may sign the book on Friday, January 22, 2021, from 12 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton. Family will receive friends and family from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, 1 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton. The family would like friends who join at the memorial service to wear a mask for their safety and yours.

Burial to follow at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, KS.
