Liberal City Commission Approves CID for the Southgate Mall Area

The Liberal City Commission met Monday evening and after appointing Taylor Harden as Mayor and  Tony Martinez as Vice Mayor, held a Public Hearing on a Community Improvement District for the Southgate Mall area. Once the Hearing was complete, the Commission approved the CID.

Commissioners also approved the purchase of new heaters for the Mid America Air Museum for a total cost of $9,062.30. Commissioners also awarded the bid for the Bus Facility cameras to Safety Vision in the amount of $25, 741.81 and the Waterline bid to Speer Construction in the amount of $214,783.00.

Discussion was also held on the Reopening the rental buildings owned by the City, and the Pit Bull Ban. Both will be brought back up at a future meeting.
