Two Vehicle Accident in Beaver County

A two vehicle injury accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 4:30pm on US-270, approximately 18 miles south and 2 miles east of Beaver, OK.

A 2014 Chevy Cruze driven by Caitley Adams, 20 of Woodward, OK was westbound on US 270 when she topped a hill.  A Moped, driven by Todd Lagwig, 56, of Lincoln, NE was parked in the road, facing west. The Cruze struck the moped and both vehicles departed roadway to the right.

Lagwig, was transported by ambulance to Beaver County Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released  for a head injury.

A passenger on the moped Juana Saavedra, 28, of Austin, TX. was transported by ambulance to Beaver County Memorial Hospital then transferred to Northwest Texas Healthcare in Amarillo, TX. She was admitted in stable condition with leg, trunk internal, and head injuries.

Adams, was not injured.

Lagwig appeared to be under the influence of illegal drugs.
