Semi Accident in Meade County Injures an Oklahoma Man

A one vehicle accident occurred Monday afternoon on US 160, 9.25 miles East of Meade.
The accident happened at approximately 1;37pm when a 2014 Kenworth Semi being driven by William Early, 37, of Wakita OK was westbound on US 160 Highway. Early reached down for an object, crossed left of center and entered the south ditch. Early then overcorrected and rolled the semi into the south ditch on the driver’s side.
Early was taken to Meade District Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Seatbelts were in use at the time of the accident.
