Dolores Amanda Obando

Dolores Amanda Obando, age 82, died Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on April 22, 1938 in Managua, Nicaragua. The daughter of Domingo Obando and Berta Bojorge.

She lived in Managua, Nicaragua until 1986, she moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1992 at which time she moved to Liberal, Kansas staying until 1997, where as she moved to Wichita, Kansas, in 2004 on to Las Vegas, Nevada and in 2019 made Liberal, Kansas her final home.

Amanda is survived by her sons:

Denis Zamora of Liberal, Kansas

Ernesto Zamora of Managua, Nicaragua

Carlos Zamora of Las Vegas, Nevada

Rene Zamora of Las Vegas, Nevada

Daughter:

Reyna Zamora of Las Vegas, Nevada

9 Grandchildren:

Hazell, Robert, MariLyn, Jonathan, Andrea, Kenia, Daniel, Bismark and Osman

17 Great Grandchildren

Emily, Julie, Adeline, Caleb, Cairo, Zoe Massiel, Atticus, Liliana, Emilia,

Galilea, Isabella, Mixtli, Benicio, Soleil, Zoe Monserrath, Alessa and Genesis

Roberto Obando of Miami, Florida

Preceded in death by:

Her Father Domingo Obando and her Mother Berta Bojorge

Her Brother Carlos Obando

Her Sister Bertilda Obando

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hornung Family Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Restlawn Cemetery.
