LHS and Liberal Police Investigate Racist Remarks

Late last night, November 4th,and into early this morning, the administration at Liberal High School was made aware of a screenshot of a group message and other posts that contained racial remarks and responses to them. Since being made aware of these posts late last night, the LHS administration has been working with the Liberal Police department as well as the LPD Resource officer to address the situation swiftly and appropriately. LHS will continue to investigate this matter. Liberal High School takes these matters very seriously. Moreover, LHS takes a strong stance on addressing situations that cause any student to be treated without dignity or respect.
