Accident Thursday Afternoon Injures Sublette Man

An injury accident occured Thursday afternoon at approximately 3:20pm 1.9 miles south of the south junction of U.S. Highway 50 and U.S. Highway 83 on U.S. Highway 83.
A 2008 Chevy Silverado being driven by Alejandro Macias,16, of Garden City, was southbound on U.S. Highway 83. A 2014 Chevy Equinox being driven by Adela Martinez-de Hernandez 48 of Sublette was northbound on U.S. Highway 83. The Silversdo made a left hand turn onto Grandview Drive failing to yield to the Equinox and struck the Equinox.
De-Hernandez was taken to St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City to be treated for minor injuries. Macias was not injured.
