Cares Funding Consultants Meet with Local Officials

The consultants from Iparametrics met with governmental entities, local leaders, non-profits, and businesses on July 27 through July 29. During the week of August 3, the consultants will take the information they received from the meetings and surveys to prioritize local needs and develop a direct spending plan for the CRF funds.

They will also be working on procedures to evaluate requests for reimbursements from governmental entities and local non-profits. Following meetings with county staff, Iparametrics will then present its recommendations for the Direct Spending Plan and procedures for reimbursement to the Board of County Commissioners on Monday August 10, at 5:30 p.m.

Once the plan is approved by the commission, it will be submitted by August 17 to the State of Kansas for approval. Any questions concerning the CRF funds may continue to be directed to [email protected]
