SCCC Volleyball Receives AVCA Academic Award

LIBERAL, Kan.- The Lady Saints Volleyball programs add to their historical year with another National Award with a 2019-20 AVCA Team Academic Award. The United States Marine Corp and the AVCA recognized 32 two year programs with the academic award that takes into account season success and academic success throughout the year.

The KJCCC has 6 teams represented and five are from the Plains District, previously known as District Six.

Seward County Community College volleyball team finished with a 3.38 GPA and a 3.24 GPA during the spring semester. The Lady Saints had four individuals end the school year with a 4.0 GPA and ten finished with a GPA above a 3.1. After a historical season as the 2019 National Runner-Ups, the Lady Saints continued to dominate but this time in the classroom.
