Seward County Unified Command, in accordance with the approved plan of the Board of County Commissioners, will transition our COVID-19 reopening guidance to Phase 3 beginning Monday, June 8. Over the last week, all three matrices—hospitalizations, disease spread, and deaths—have continued to track favorably in the county.
Phase 3 Guidance continues to allow all businesses to operate and determine their own procedures for personal protective equipment and customer expectations. Mass Gatherings will be defined by no more than 90 individuals. Social distancing is still recommended and expected.
The Emergency Operations Center will not be hosting the 2:00pm Sunday Briefing this week. Those briefings will not occur unless circumstances change, and new information needs to be shared.
Testing is still available in Seward County. If you are sick or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, contact the Seward County Health Department, Southwest Medical Center, or Xpress Wellness to get tested.
