Coronaviris Around the Area for June 1st

The latest statistics released by the KDHE, Seward County Health Department, and surrounding Counties as of Monday June 1st show Seward County has had 879 individuals test results have come back positive for Coronavirus. 659 Individuals have recovered from COVID 19. The positive case count went down. This is due to the reclassification of several cases. In a few cases, patients were retested. Because they were already a positive case, their second positive was removed from the total number. In a few other cases, antigen/antibody tests determined that previously undocumented cases had been positive. Originally, these were included in the totals, but now they are not.

Around the area, Stevens County has 30 positive cases Haskell County 21 positive cases, Morton County has 5 positive cases , Grant County has 18 positive cases, Meade County has 29 positive cases, Stanton County has 9 positive cases, Ford County has 1,790 positive cases, and Finney County has 1,502 positive cases. Beaver County has 24 positive cases while Texas County has 926 positive tests. Ochiltree County/Perryton TX has 37 in county positive cases and 15 out of County positives

Ford County – 41 hospitalized
Finney County – 33 hospitalized
Stevens County – 2 hospitalized
Grant County – 1 hospitalized
Haskell County – 1 hospitalized
Stanton County – 2 hospitalized
Some of the individuals have been discharged from the hospital.
