Kansas to Receive Additional CDC Funding

Joe Denoyer - May 20, 2020 5:50 pm

Sen. Jerry Moran announced Wednesday that Kansas will receive over $81 million from CDC to develop, administer, process, and analyze COVID-19 tests and perform contact tracing. This critical funding is distributed directly from CDC resources provided by the Phase 3.5 Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act. Widespread testing is one of the most important factors in safely returning lives back to normal, This funding will help Kansas increase efforts in this area.
