K-51 Mill and Overlay Project to Begin in Morton County

Crews are expected to begin mill and overlay project on K-51 in Morton County on Thursday, May 21, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation. Crews will begin at the U.S. 56/K-51 junction at Rolla and continue to the Kansas/Colorado state line.

APAC Shears of Hutchinson is the contractor on this $2.3 million project, which is expected to be completed in July, weather permitting.
