On Saturday, the last of the local travel health orders expired in Seward County. These health orders were put in place to protect communities from the spread of the disease by travel to an area known to have high community spread. However, while local orders have expired, the state of Kansas still has travel restrictions in place. Anyone traveling internationally, on a cruise, or from one of the following states is mandated to self-quarantine for 14 days.
New York
Illinois
New Jersey
Colorado
Louisiiana
Connecticut
Massachusetts
Rhode Island
As with local health orders, this travel is exempt if it is done in the service of a Kansas Essential Function.
