Texas County Accident injures a Rolla KS Man

An injury accident occurred Wednesday morning at 630am, at approximately a mile north and one tenth of a mile west of Optima, Oklahoma in Texas County.

The accident occured when a 2012 Ford Edge SUV driven by Damian Don Juan 20, of Rolla, Kansas was southbound on County Road Mile 37. The vehicle departed the roadway to the right and entered the
bar ditch. The vehicle then struck a culvert and went airborne across County Road Q, struck the ground and rolled two times coming to rest on its wheels in a pasture..

Don Juan was transported by Guymon EMS to Southwest Medical Hospital in Liberal, Kansas and then flown to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. He was admitted for head and trunk internal injuries. Listed in stable condition.
