Seward’s Haggard Headed to West Texas A&M

Seward baseball player Kason Haggard is going to West Texas A&M.  The Canyon High product will play at his home area in Canyon.  Haggard is a 5’8″ 170 pound infielder.  Haggard hit .225 with one homer, 12 RBI’s and three doubles in 2019 as a freshman for the Saints.  In a coronavirus shortened 2020 season, Haggard was hitting .263 with nine RBI’s and three doubles.  Haggard had a fielding percentage of .959 in two seasons with the Saints.  Haggard joins a WT program which was off to a 17-6 start this season.
