Update From SWMC

Joe Denoyer - March 14, 2020 4:28 pm

All patient services at SWMC remain fully operational.

SWMC has implemented visitor precautions to ensure all patients have access to high quality care. There are no cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Seward County. Our team stands ready to serve patients and protect our community.

Current measures taken to ensure safety include:
• No visitors allowed under 18 years of age.
• No more than 2 visitors allowed per patient. Visitors are asked to remain in patient rooms.
• Visitation hours remain unchanged.
• All patients and visitors are asked to enter our ER doors. We will be conducting a simple screening to help individuals who may be ill get the care they need without spreading illness on to our patients or staff.

These actions reflect current best-practices being used by healthcare facilities across the country.

We will continue to share accurate and timely information with our community. Please be sure to check our page for further updates.
