Bridge Repairs to Begin in Western Kansas

Repairs are expected to begin on the K-27 bridge south of Syracuse on Thursday, February 27. Traffic will be reduced to one lane controlled by an electronic signal during the repairs.

Bridges Inc. of Newton is the contractor on this $1 million project, which is expected to be completed in July.

Work is also expected to begin on the K-23 bridge located approximately one-half mile south of Cimarron in Gray County on Monday, March 2. Traffic will be reduced to one lane controlled by electronic signal during the project.

PCI Roads of Saint Michael, Minn. is the contractor on this $1.7 million project, which is expected to be completed in August.
