Katie Horyna is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior Katie Horyna is the Hay Rice and Associates

Athlete of the Week. Horyna scored 24 in the opener Friday

at Holcomb and had 17 in Liberal win Tuesday over Hugoton.

The two time all state player and two time WAC Player of

the Year is off to a great start before joining Abilene

Christian’s program next year. Horyna is a multi sport

athlete who has made state in cross country, golf, track,

and basketball. She is also in NHS and student council.

Horyna and the Lady Redskins play at Olathe West Friday night

with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
