Governor Parkinson, Taiwanese President Talk Beef

Governor Mark Parkinson met with Taiwanese President Ma Ying-Jeou to discuss relaxing some current restrictions on Kansas beef exports to Taiwan. It was one of several topics the two leaders discussed. They also spoke about advancing business ties between Kansas and the Asian country.

Taiwan was the 16th largest market for Kansas products in 2008. They’re also the second largest consumer of US agricultural products per capita.
