Liberal City Commission to Meet, Looking to Authorize Moderate Income Housing Grant

The Liberal City Commission will meet Tuesday evening at 5:30pm and right away will look to proclaim a Fire Prevention Week.
Also on the agenda, the commission will consider exempting the City of Liberal from the Provisions of KSA 13-1024A and providing substitute and additional provisions relating to general improvements.

Commissioners will also consider the purchase of a Street Sweeper at a cost of $200,000, applying for a KDOT Transportation Alternative Grant and will consider authorizing a Moderate Income Housing Grant.

Up for consideration at the meeting will be a Board Appointment to the Housing Authority Board and the Voting Delegates to the League of Kansas Municipalities Annual Conference.
