Liberal senior running back Elijah McCarter is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  McCarter went for 122 yards and a touchdown in Liberal’s 55-18 win over Wichita North in Wichita Friday.  McCarter is a multi sport athlete who plays football, swimming, and basketball.  McCarter is also involved in the fall musical, NHS,  FCA, and student council.  McCarter and the Redskins host Hays Friday night at 7 at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.
