Redskin Soccer Wins at Dodge City

The Liberal soccer team won 3-1 Tuesday evening in Dodge City

Memorial Stadium.  Liberal controlled most of the first and scored
in midway in the first half with an inside right shot from Estevan
Dominguez assisted by Alfredo Moncayo. Liberal led 1-0 at the half.
In the second half, Liberal started off strong and midway into the second half
Alfredo Moncayo scored inside the box with an assist from David Arroyo. 10
minutes later Alfredo Moncayo scores another goal from outside middle of
the box with an assist from Yahir Salazar. Late in the second half Dodge
City scored. End of the full game. Liberal gets the W 3-1.

The Redskins are 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the WAC.  This was Dodge City’s WAC

opener.  Liberal plays at Garden City on Thursday at about 6:30.
