A Costly Night for Redskins

Liberal has to share the WAC title and falls to number two in the regional standings after a 2-1 loss to Dodge City at Redskin Field on a frigid Thursday evening. The Red Demons share the WAC title with LHS after scoring the first and third goals of the game. Liberal has now won or shared nine straight WAC titles in boys soccer. LHS finishes 7-1 in the WAC and is 14-3 in the regional standings. Liberal falls to the two seed and plays a home playoff game Tuesday likely at 6:30 PM. If Liberal wins, they will have another home game on Thursday. The Redskins have advanced to five of the last six “Final Fours” in 5A.
