Seward’s Lobo Signs at Divison 1 Mercer

LIBERAL, Kan. – Seward County Community College tennis player Hugo Lobo will be heading to play at Division I Mercer University.
Lobo had a stellar freshman year in 2017-18 with Second-team All American honor, runner-up at No. 3 singles and a third-place finish in No. 1 doubles with Nic Rousset at the NJCAA national tournament. Lobo’s sophomore season did not go as well as injuries sidelined him for most of the year.
Lobo will play for the Bears, who were 3-4 in the Southern Conference and 11-15 overall.
