Bee Jays Make Quick Work of Denver

The Liberal Bee Jays defeated the Denver Cougars 3-0 Friday night at Brent Gould Field.    The game was called in the middle of the fifth due to lightning.  Then heavy rain descended on Brent Gould Field.  The game is official.

Liberal did their damage in the first.  Justin Quinn singled and Tristan Stacy walked.  Connor Emmet lifted a homer to left center for his seventh of the season.  Trevor Pruitt pitched all five shutout innings.

Liberal is 19-10 and the Cougars are 16-18.  Liberal plays at Dodge City Monday night at 7:30 with the Dugout Show at 7:15 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
