Liberal Golf Hosts WAC Schools at Willow Tree

The rains held off for the final tournament of the WAC regular season, and quality scores were shot by all teams. The tournament was won by Sion Audrain of Garden City, who shot 8 under par for a 64. He was followed in 2nd by Tradgon McCrae of Hays at 3 under par 69. The team winners on the day and overall WAC Champions were the Garden City Buffalos. Liberal boys all shot their lowest rounds of the season with Kyle Wagenseller leading the team at 88. Liberal placed 5th as a team at 376. The boys only have a day of rest before heading to Wichita on Sunday to prepare for Regionals on Monday. The 6A regional, which will include the WAC schools of Garden and Dodge, will be hosted by Wichita Southeast and played at Tex Consolver Golf Course in Wichita on Monday.
