Liberal Takes Two Softball Games at Hugoton

Liberal’s softball team won two at Hugoton on Monday.  Liberal won 15-0 and 19-0. Both games went just three innings due to the run rule.  LHS scored four in the first, five in the second, and six in the third in game one.  Raegan Watt was 3-3 with two RBI’s.  Lacie Lanning was 2-2 with four RBI’s.  Kaeleah Chaloupek pitched three scoreless innings.  In game two, Liberal scored six in the first, seven in the second, and six in the third.  Whitney Hay was 3-4 with six RBI’s.  Alexia Torres drove home three runs and was 2-4.  Milly McClure pitched two scoreless innings and Meaghan McClure pitched one scoreless.  Liberal is 12-6 and plays at Dodge City Tuesday at 4.
