LHS Softball Takes Two at Stanton County

The LHS softball team won both games at Stanton County on Thursday.  Liberal won 3-2 and 10-5. In game one, Kaeleah Chaloupek pitched the distance with nine strikeouts and one walk while allowing just two hits.  Liberal’s bats heated up in game two.  Alexia Torres was 4-5 while Whitney Hay was 3-5 with four RBI’s.  Liberal banged out 15 hits.  Liberal is 10-6.  Liberal will play at Hugoton on Monday.
