The USD 480 Board of Education met Monday evening and recognized Kaitlyn Ralston, Cottonwood Elementary, as the Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Month.  After reports from directors, the BOE approved professional learning programs for the 19-20 school year, a bid from Abbott Construction to install a new parking lot and bus drop off lane at Bright Start Early Learning Center for $294,000, and accepted a $100,000 donation from an anonymous donor for the purchase of the former High Plains Pizza headquarters at 7 Parkway Blvd to be used as the new Central Office.
