Wind Blown Redskins Edge Hays

The wind was such a big factor that Liberal kicked 12 shots on goal in the first half with the wind and no shots on goal in the second half against the wind. Liberal scored all three goals with the wind in a 3-2 win at Hays Thursday afternoon. Jose Flores found the back of the net twice in the win. Eduardo Moreno added a goal in a game LHS led 3-1 at the half. Hector Mata assisted Moreno while Isiai Gutierrez and Joe Pena assisted Flores. The Redskins are 9-1 and lead the WAC at 4-0 with three WAC road wins. Liberal hosts Garden City Tuesday at about 5:45.
