KSCB News - October 2, 2009 12:00 am

A failure to observe construction cost a Guymon man his life. Forty three year old Bobby McDonald of Guymon lost his life Thursday morning after a crash on Highway 54 five miles west of Guymon. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says McDonald drove a 1997 Volvo Semi and Trailer into the back of a car working construction causing a three vehicle accident. The two construction vehicles collided but no one in those vehicles was injured. The Highway Patrol says McDonald failed to observe the construction. McDonald was pronounced dead at the scene due to head and internal trunk injuries. The vehicles were all headed west on 54.
