A small plane crash occured Saturday evening in rural Texas County. According to scanner traffic,  the plane was attempting to land in Hooker but could not see the runway, so they tried to come to Liberal. The plane came in nose down, and inspite of a soft landing, the two people on board died. More official details will be released when they become available from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
