LHS junior volleyball player Katie Burnett is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Burnett won the MVP award for the Liberal Tournament after registering 52 kills, nine aces, 18 blocks, and 19 digs. Burnett has a grade point average of 3.9. Burnett is also a member of the band, jazz band, and track programs at LHS.
