Middle School Results: Girls Basketball Begins

On Thursday night the lady warriors traveled to Garden City to compete at Hoarce Goode. The A team cam away with a victory winning 35-15. Jenna Ormiston lead the way for the warriors putting in 9 points and pulling down 5 rebounds. Hallie West was good for 8 points along with Lizzy Cisneros scoring 8 and adding 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Naomi Macias had 3 points and Arrianna Hubbard put in 2. Rachelle Terrazas fhad 2 points and 5 steals in the game. Katie Classen rounded out the scoring making a free throw.

The B team lost 7-20. They were unable to handle the defensive pressure from Hoarce Goode. Ella Friederich, Gabby Echevaeria and Lesly Avila all had 2 points and Sash Ricks had 1. The Warriors head across town on Tuesday to take on Seymour Rogers.

*The 7th grade Eisenhower Middle School Lady Warriors took on the Horace
Good Lady Hawks last night in Garden City Thursday and came away with a convincing
win by a score of 42-7. The Lady Warriors are 2-0 on the season and will
play next Tuesday against Seymour Rodgers.*

Monday night the Lady Warriors 8th grade traveled to Hugoton for the season opener.
The A team came up short 22-32. The team played very well just running out
of gas in the end. Naomi Macias has 2 steals and 5 rebounds, Lizzy Cisneros
had 2 assists and Rachelle Terrazas pulled down 6 rebounds. Jenna Ormiston
lead the scoring for the Warriors with 6, Lizzy Cisneros put in 4, Naomi
Macias and Harley Ewalt both had 3, and Hallie West, Adrianna Hubbard and
Rachelle Terrazas all had 2.

The B team lost 14-22. Ashlyn Wagenseller had 2 assists and 5 rebounds.
Josie Hall had 6 points in the game. Gabby Echevaeria put in 3 points.
Lesly Avila had 3 points and 5 rebounds. The Warriors travel to Garden City
Thursday to compete against Horace Goode.

*7th Grade Lady Warrior Basketball*

Tonight the 7th grade Eisenhower Lady Warriors kicked off the 2018
basketball season taking on the Hugoton Lady Eagles. The Lady Warriors
started the first have of the game off strong with a lead of 29-5. The
Lady Warriors struggled with the second have scoring baskets by missing
lay-ups and turning the ball over. Despite the miscues the Lady Warriors
came away with a 39-19 victory over the Hugoton Lady Eagles.
