Dodge City Rallies Past Liberal

Fresh off of a Wichita South Titan Classic Blue Bracket title, the Dodge City Red Demons brought swagger to Redskin Field Tuesday night.  Liberal was upset minded but  Dodge City prevailed 2-1 in front of a spirited crowd in the Cornelsen Sports Complex.  After a scoreless first half, Christian Sobalvarro scored and was assisted by Mike Fonseca with 25:55 to play in the game.  The Demons scored on a penalty kick at about the 19 minute mark and took the lead with the south wind at their backs a minute later.  Liberal is 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the WAC.  The Redskins host Garden City Thursday at about 5:45.
