Senior cross country runner Xavier Perez is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week. Perez took 10th at the opening cross country meet Saturday in Borger. His time was 17:53.12. Perez has made state twice in his LHS cross country career. Perez and the Redskins run at Hesston Thursday.
