99th Celebration of the Kismet Little World’s Fair Labor Day Weekend

The Kismet Lions Club will be hosting the Kismet Little Worlds Fair this weekend. This marks the 99th year the event has taken place in Kismet Kansas. Events are slated to start on Sunday. Several events will take place on Sunday including worship services,  Taste of Kismet, a turtle treasure hunt a bicycle poker run, Sunflower seed spitting contest, a Quilts of Valor Presentation Bingo and a Street Dance. On Monday, Labor Day, the day is filled with activities starting off with breakfast, a 5K and 10K run, Oldtimers registration and a huge parade. A mainstay of the Little Worlds Fair is always the free ham and bean feed, followed by friendly competitions of Golf cart obstacle course race, wheel barrow races, Water balloon toss, turtle, bike, trike, and stick horse races and a frozen T-shirt pull. New this year will be the Midwest Truckfest show featuring semi’s from all over the area and country. There will be a Peoples Choice award where votes are tallied at a penny a vote. All proceeds will benefit the Medical Fund of Grace Martinez, a little girl from Beaver OK battling cancer. Come enjoy the Kismet Little World’s Fair.
