Satanta Man Dies in Two Vehicle Accident

A two vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Satanta man. The crash occurred Tuesday evening at 10:05pm 7 miles west of Johnson on US 160. A 2011 Chevy Malibu driven by Justin Frey, 47, of Satanta was travelling westbound when he crossed the centerline striking head on, a 2006 semi being driven by Bekzod Yazov, 36 of British Columbia Canada. The Malibu came to rest in the north ditch and the semi in the south ditch. Frey died as a result of the accident while Yazov was taken to the Stanton County Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
