Tyrique Chandler is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior track and field athlete Tyrique Chandler is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Chandler PR’d is the 300 hurdles at 39.77 at Goddard Friday as teammate Austin Mullens set the state pace in the same event.  Chandler won the event at Winfield and has been second in every other meet.  Chandler PR’d in the 110 hurdles at 15.47 at Goddard.  Chandler also ran in the 100 and the 200 for the first time in Goddard and took 4th in the 200 and 8th in the 100.  He participated in the long jump for the first time last week and won the event at 21’5″.  Chandler also played football this fall.
