Seward County Community College is hosting a free “Women in Robotics” workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 14 in the Hobble Academic Building.
The workshop is designed to give middle and high school girls the opportunity to explore engineering, design, and programming in a hands-on atmosphere where they will learn the basics of design and sensor programming in a variety of scenarios. Students will use problem solving skills, teamwork and creative solutions.
The workshop is limited to 24 students. All participants will receive a “Girls Can” t-shirt. Pizza and refreshments will be served. To register and more information, call (620) 417-1356.
