Garden City Blanks LHS Soccer

Liberal had a few chances but couldn’t find the back of the net.  Garden City blanked LHS 1-0 Monday evening at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  Garden City’s goal came on a penalty kick in the 25th minute.  The Buffaloes led shots on goal 9-4.  LHS is 1-5-1 and 0-2-1 in the WAC.  Garden City pitched their fifth shutout and are 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the WAC.  Liberal plays at Great Bend Thursday at about 5:45.
