(KSNW)Classes were canceled at Haviland Grade School Wednesday after high wind ripped off the roof of the grade school Tuesday.

It happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. when school was still in session.

According to Haviland Superintendent Mark Clodfelter, no students or faculty were injured because of the damage.

However, several vehicles were damaged after parts of the roof landed on top of them.

Clodfelter expects the repairs to be completed by the weekend.

School has also been canceled for Thursday.
