Liberal Tennis Competes at Great Bend

Garden City took team honors with 47 points followed by Dodge City with 38, and Great Bend with 25 points. Liberal finished with 21 points. Other competing teams included Hoisington and Ellinwood.

Individual Results:
#1 Singles–Erick Rodriguez went 1-4 on the day.
#2 Singles–Marcelino Barrientos went 4-1 on the day finishing 2nd Place
#1 Doubles–Calen Moore and Duncan Hinz went 2-3 on the day.
#2 Doubles–David Perez and Jack Maxwell went 2-3.

We battled high winds and cold temperatures, but I was proud of our effort. We learned much from the tournament and identified weaknesses for future work.
